Dr. Barton and her multi-site team received funding from VA HSR&D to conduct a stepped-wedge, cluster-randomized trial to evaluate the effectiveness and implementation of a multicomponent intervention to facilitate shared decision-making among patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Active study sites include Portland, Philadelphia, and San Francisco. This is a 4-year study that will conclude in 2026.
